Free Family Fire Truck Photos

Sunday, Oct. 30, 2:00-3:30 pm
Haw Creek Fire Station 12
October is fire prevention month and you’re invited to join us for a special program that will not only cover important fire safety issues but will let your kids see the fire trucks up close and get their picture taken with fire fighters at Haw Creek Fire Station 12.
Asheville Fire Department staff will talk about fire safety and the unique aspects of Station 12, including Asheville’s only pumper truck. There will also be handouts from the National Fire Protection Association. This October represents the 100th anniversary of Fire Prevention Week, the nation’s longest-running public health observance on record.
Plan to attend this fun and educational program sponsored by the Haw Creek Community Association. You’ll hear from local fire fighters and learn about the leading risks to home fires and the ways that you can better protect your family. And your kids will get the full fire truck experience!
